Why you should never buy anything from Outscraper.com & Appsumo.com ?

This is Team Sarvotarzan and I am one of the team member of the Team Sarvotarzan.

Today I am writing this article after a long tussle with Outscraper & Appsumo team.

The story unfolds itself around october of 2022 when we have purchased the Life time Deal of Outscraper from Appsumo. Things were going ok until the end of First month. After the end of first month, to our utter surprise, we got the invoice of ~ $2 required to be paid to carry on searches. And if we did not pay the amount the outscraper tool will not allow us to search any new data. We raised the concern to the outscraper team but they did not do anything about it and practically the support was non existent to listen to any of our concerns. We then escalated the issue further to Appsumo team and somehow got the invoice cleared.

Actually, the problem was, the outscraper tool was unable to control the searches & usually was exceeding the limit of searches with some little values. As a Life time deal offer customer we purchased the deal from Appsumo and it was outscraper’s responsibility to check & control the usage of the tool but clearly they were unable to do so & the result, these invoices of small amounts are generating & because of their own code foolishness they wanted to charge the exceeding usage amount from the customer. No, under the LTD, we are not supposed to pay any anything other than the one-time price of $89 for life time usage of tool as 5000 searches per month, but they are unable to control the tool & they us to pay for their mal practice. They This was a total violation of the life time deal of one time offer of Appsumo deal.

Anyways, this happened for around 4-5 times but they cleared the invoice, & we were able to search the data for last last 4-5 months. Also, we already told them about this problem and requested them to get the things sorted out. But they did nothing. Our Every effort of reaching out to them was just frowned upon. Now at the end of 6^th month, same problem raised and again we had to reach out to them to clear the invoice but to our sudden surprise, they didn’t do anything. Now they want us to pay this amount for further usage of the tool.

Now here comes the support role of Appsumo team.

When we reached out to the Apsumo, their support team replied very late with generic reply to pay the amount. They did nothing to get it sorted, blatantly supported Outscraper team & asked us to pay the invoice. After making us circling round & round for couple of weeks they stopped all kinds of communication. Then we took this matter to the fame boy Noah Kagan thinking that he will definitely help us & might sort the things easily. But, no, people like these are only good for sharing self help & motivational stories only on Linkedin & Blogs. In reality, they don’t give a shit about their customer woes. So, he did not even reply us.

Its not like we did not purchase any other deals from Appsumo. We had already purchased other such kind of deals from Appsumo which are working fine for us as they are solid with their offer but this outscraper team is trying to harass the customers by taking petty amounts to make them rich. Its also not like a invoices of ~ $1- $3 are gonna make us poor or something but if the outscraper people are not gonna hounur their deal then whats the use of life time deal & if we bent one time, they will surely make it a habit of bending other customers as well to charge them as per their dirty practices.

So, we request the readers to never anything from outscraper if they don’t honour their words & also don’t support Appsumo if they don’t support the customer at all.

We still invite the Outscraper & Appsumo people to mend the things & live amicably. We are also willing to take down the article if things don’t go south further more. But, if not, then definitely the outscraper people will soon face the wrath of negative SEO of this article.
